A volunteer-run theatre in the heart of Droitwich Spa
Covid-19 (Coronavirus) update:

The members of the Norbury Theatre Council are missing our members and patrons very much! It seems such a long time since we had to close the doors not knowing when we can get back to our little theatre which we cannot wait to do!
And we will be back, as soon as we get the go ahead from the Government, there are lots of exciting productions in the pipeline. Before the lockdown we had three productions in rehearsal, “A Bunch of Amateurs”, “Charley's Aunt” and “Legally Blonde”. We intend to bring these to you as soon as possible, but it may well be 2021 before we can, so please keep looking at our website for updates.
As well as these productions we intend resuming Children’s Theatre, our Beginners on Stage production of “Aladdin Jr” and the classic tale “Goodnight Mister Tom”. No firm arrangements had been made for a Youth Musical this year but there will be an announcement for a Youth musical next year.
However, on the musical front we plan on producing the musical “9 to 5” in the autumn of 2021. A must for all Dolly Parton fans!
We sincerely hope that we will be able to bring you our annual pantomime early next year. Will Snow White defeat the evil Queen? Well I think we all know the answer, “Oh yes she will”.
So like the nation we wait! Please keep checking our Facebook Page and website, where you will find information on all things Norbury.

Existing ticket holders - our box office volunteers have begun contacting ticket holders. As we have postponed our current programme indefinitely we have taken the decision to refund all bookings.
Bookings made online - you will be contacted automatically via Ticketsource, usually by email. Please check any junk/spam folders.
Bookings made at the Box Office either in person or over the phone - we will be contacting you in person.
We will be contacting ticket holders for the events coming up the soonest as a priority. Once we have details of when normal service will resume we will be sharing the new dates of our performances and ticket holders will be able to re-book then.
In the meantime, times are going to prove very difficult for small businesses and the arts in general. The Norbury is a registered charity and a voluntary organisation. If you would like to gift your ticket money back to us as a charitable donation that would be greatly received. The easiest way to donate is via 'JustGiving' using the button below.

It is with regret that, following on from the Government advice issued today, the Norbury Theatre will be ceasing all operations until further notice, with immediate effect. This includes all rehearsals, performances, cinema & streaming events.
The theatre's council of management have taken this very difficult decision, as have the majority of theatres nationwide, in order to best protect our members and the public.
The situation is very new, but current ticket holders will be contacted as soon as possible. Our volunteers will also be working to contact external hirers concerning their bookings with the theatre.
The theatre's council of management will be regularly reviewing the situation and keeping our members and patrons updated with any news. We aim to restore operations to normal as soon as we can.
The theatre can be contacted using the 'Contact Us' link at the top of the page, but we are expecting a large number of enquiries so please be patient. In the case of current ticket holders, we ask that you please wait to be contacted by the theatre first.
We thank you all for your support and patience at this time.
